REHOMING CRITERIA – ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?
Thank you for thinking of Staffie and Stray Rescue in your journey to adopt a dog.
We specialise in more challenging and complex dogs. We have currently refined our rehoming criteria to meet the needs of the majority of our dogs.
We are accepting applications where homes can offer a home to our dogs most in need.
Please reach out ONLY if you can offer:
– A pet free home
– Experience with bull breeds / larger breeds
– Experience / can cope with reactive dogs – A home that doesn’t mind a dog who is not social with others – Willing to keep the dog on lead at all times and potentially use a muzzle.
– We rehome dogs with children over the age of 6 years, however each dog will have differing needs, please check the website to look at each dogs requirements.
– A private and secure garden
– All homes must be within a two hour driving radius of Bournemouth – More local homes will be prioritized for dogs who do not travel well or for those who will require additional support from the rescue
