A SPECIAL APPEAL FOR LUCY
Wonderful dogs deserve wonders. Hit by a car in Italy at just 3 months old, poor Lucy’s family abandoned her rather than pay the vets bill. Occasionally, Staffie and Stray Rescue take on special cases where there is a chance we can find them a forever home. We are sure that Lucy can be one of the lucky ones to find a loving new family that can give her the life she so richly deserves.
Lucy is now in one of Staffie and Stray Rescue’s foster homes, where we are assessing her needs. Poor Lucy can only walk with the aid of a wheel chair, a generous gift from Winston’s Wheels, an organisation who fundraise for dogs in need of wheelchairs. Due to the extent of medical care that Lucy requires, SSR are committed to supporting any home willing to help Lucy, by covering costs such as her physiotherapy and hydrotherapy treatments. She is also incontinent but we think the challenges of her care will bring double the rewards in the love this little girl will return her new owners. Her zest for life is as big as her smile and with your help, she can have the happy life that other dogs enjoy.
