Zac Needs a Home

About Zac

My Name Is… Zac

I Am… Approximately 7 months old

Can I be rehomed with other dogs? Yes, with a female dog

Can I be rehomed with cats? No

Can I be rehomed with children? Over 6 years

I Am Looking For… A foster or forever home

Zac was found alone on the streets and taken to the pound. He was unclaimed so he has arrived at SSR in search of a forever home.

Poor Zac was a nervous wreck when he arrived and was petrified of the world and has clearly lacked any positive human input.

He has progressed well in the short space of time he has been with us and we are taking small steps to assist him with building his confidence. At the moment, he is going on very short walks each day on the exact same route so that he can get used to day to day noises and surroundings that currently scare him. This will be build up overtime.

Zac is also nervous of the car and is currently being lifted in and out of vehicles. Again, this is something that will likely be resolved in time.

Zac is almost fully house trained and he had learnt this very quickly. We are asking applicants not to forget that Zac is still a puppy and he will need lots of exercise as his confidence grows and he will have accidents in the home and chew!

He is a typical lively pup during the day but will sleep all night with no issues. He would love a home where someone is around most of the time as he has displayed signs of seperation anxiety.

Zac is looking for a home who can provide him with the foundations of training and confidence building. He could live with another female dog and can live with children over 8 years old.

I am social with other dogs
