MY HISTORY
I have been with my current owners my whole life since I was a pup. Unfortunetely, due to some behaviours that I am presenting, I am now looking for a new home.
ABOUT SKYLER
Hi, I’m Skyler! Pleased to meet you!
I have been a well loved dog and I am very well trained. Unfortunetly, when there are lots of visitors to the house, I can get a little nervous and I have been taking myself to wee on human beds in protest! This has been controlled by introducing stair gates into the home, but sadly I am looking for a home where it is a little quieter.
I am used to living with children happyily and I can live with kids aged 6+.
I know the commands sit and paw and I take treats very gently. I do love my food and I might pinch food if its in easy reach!
In the summer months I do struggle with allergies but this can be managed by taking a Piriton once a day.
I can be left for short, reasonable periods of time.
I am used to sleeping on the sofa during the night, I have my own special chair!
I can be nervous around loud noises such as fireworks.
I am a very affectionate girl and I enjoy lots of fuss and attention.
MY TEMPERAMENT WITH OTHER DOGS
I am fairly social with other dogs, I am kept on lead when there are lots of other dogs around but I am happy to have a quick sniff and move on when passing by other dogs.
TYPE OF HOME NEEDED
I am looking for:
- A forever home
- I can live with children aged 6+
- I could possibly live with a calm male dog – Applicants will need to be more local and willing to have multiple meet and greets
- A calmer home environment
