Rosco Needs a Home

About Rosco

My Name Is… Rosco

I am… 2 Years Old – DOB 24th August 2017

I am… A large dog

Can I be rehomed with dogs? Under Assessment

Can I be rehomed with cats? No

Can I be rehomed with children? Under Assessment

I am looking for… A  forever home

Rosco has ended up in the pound. Sadly we have no history on him. He is has arrived and is currently in one of our foster homes.

Rosco has just arrived into a foster home and is currently under assessments.

He is quite underweight at the moment but with a lot of love and care he will be in good shape in no time! He is a very lovable and cuddly boy. His foster home say that he is a pleasure in the home.

Rosco is very strong on the lead and at the moment doesn’t like to be left alone for to long. He enjoys being close to his foster family.

It is clear that Rosco has been under socialised in his past life. He will require a home who can give this young boy a lot of exercise and additional training.

He cannot be rehomed with cats as he does seem to have a high prey drive when out and about on walks.

He travels very well in the car.

Please check back for more information.

Help us find Rosco a home!

Do you have a home for Rosco?

We are looking for foster families and adoptive families. We do ask foster homes to be within an hour’s drive of Bournemouth as the dogs in foster use our local vets and foster homes will be required to bring the foster dog back to us for any medical treatments.

We rehome to adoptive families within a 2 hour driving radius of Bournemouth. A home check and a vet check is required, with a £180 adoption fee.

We have a thorough rehoming programme to prepare you and your dog for each other. We also offer help and support for you both in the future. Learn about responsible ownership or contact us if you have any questions.

If you are considering fostering or permanently rehoming a dog, then please print off and complete one of the forms below:

Please note: We only rehome within a 2 hour driving radius of the Bournemouth area and do not place dogs in homes with children under the age of 6.
