My Name Is… Rhia
I am…6 Years Old
Can I be rehomed with cats? No
Can I be rehomed with dogs? No
Can I be rehomed with children? Yes, over 6 years
I am looking for… A foster or forever home
Rhia has been a well loved dog but is looking for a new home due to unforeseen circumstances.
Rhia loves the company of people and she is happiest laying at your feet on a blanket. She is used to sleeping on her current owners bed so we would like to find her a home where she can continue these creature comforts. She loves having lots of fuss and attention and she will lay her head on the sofa in the evenings to get lots of fuss and attention. When her current owner is out, Rhia likes to sleep on the sofa.
She knows the commands sit, high 5 and turnaround!
She is a large ball that is her favourite toy to play with! When out and about on walks, Rhia is no stranger to jumping in a muddy puddle!
Rhia is looking for a home where someone is around most of the time as she doesn’t like to be left to long.
Rhia has not yet arrived with us and assessments are continuing so please check back soon for more information.
MY TEMPERAMENT WITH OTHER DOGS
Rhia is ok with other dogs. She can be let off lead in secure areas and she enjoys playing fetch with tennis balls, however she always goes back on lead if any other dogs are around.

Help us find Rhia a home!
Do you have a home for Rhia?
We are looking for foster families and adoptive families. We do ask foster homes to be within an hour’s drive of Bournemouth as the dogs in foster use our local vets and foster homes will be required to bring the foster dog back to us for any medical treatments.
We rehome to adoptive families within a 2 hour driving radius of Bournemouth. A home check and a vet check is required, with a £200 adoption fee, which contributes partially to kennel fees, vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neutering, flea/worming treatment and other veterinary costs. This adoption fee will contribute to the care of all our dogs.
We have a thorough rehoming programme to prepare you and your dog for each other. We also offer help and support for you both in the future. Learn about responsible ownership or contact us if you have any questions.
If you are considering fostering or permanently rehoming a dog, then please print off and complete one of the forms below:
Please note: We only rehome within a 2 hour driving radius of the Bournemouth area and do not place dogs in homes with children under the age of 6.
