My Name Is… Nala
I Am… 5 Years Old
Can I be rehomed with other dogs? No
Can I be rehomed with cats? No
Can I be rehomed with children? Over 15 years
I am looking for… A foster or forever home
Nala was orginally from a rescue abroad. Due to unforseen circumstances in her current home, Nala has found herself looking for another forever home through SSR.
Nala is an anxious girl who can be nervous of the outside world. We have no idea what she had been through prior to coming to the UK.
In the home, she loves getting lots of love and attention from her humans, where she feels safe.
Nala is used to being left for short periods and is also used to sleeping in a crate at night. She knows basic training, but would benefit from extra support outside the home to work on her confidence building.
Nala would love to find a quiet and calm home environment as she is sensitive to more chaotic lifestyles and noise.
Please check back soon for more information.
MY TEMPERAMENT WITH OTHER DOGS
Currently under assessments.
Nala is kept on lead all the time as she is anxious and reactive towards noise and vehicles such as lorries, motorbikes and bicyles. She will lunge towards and bark when she see’s things she is fearful of and will require additional training and confidence building.

Do you have a home for Nala?
We are looking for foster families and adoptive families. We do ask foster homes to be within an hour’s drive of Bournemouth as the dogs in foster use our local vets and foster homes will be required to bring the foster dog back to us for any medical treatments.
We rehome to adoptive families within a 2 hour driving radius of Bournemouth. A home check and a vet check is required, with a £200 adoption fee, which contributes partially to kennel fees, vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neutering, flea/worming treatment and other veterinary costs. This adoption fee will contribute to the care of all our dogs.
We have a thorough rehoming programme to prepare you and your dog for each other. We also offer help and support for you both in the future. Learn about responsible ownership or contact us if you have any questions.
If you are considering fostering or permanently rehoming a dog, then please print off and complete one of the forms below:
Please note: We only rehome within a 2 hour driving radius of the Bournemouth area and do not place dogs in homes with children under the age of 6.
