Max’s Story
Max had been in several homes in his life and most recently was rehomed privately in January 2022. We received a call from the current owner who was looking for immediate help as Max was chewing up the house trying to get to a bitch in season in the property. We were unable to provide help as a matter of urgency due to a lack of foster homes and kennel space. The owner then threatened to put Max, a health dog, to sleep.
The rescue called around all the local vets trying to track Max down with little luck. However, the next day we received a phone call from a vets who had refused to put Max down and got the owner to sign the dog over to them. From there, we worked with the vets and sought a kennel space for lovely Max.
We are pleased to say that Max has now found his happy ever after!
