MY HISTORY

Marnie was found as a stray and taken to kennels. She was not microchipped so there was no way to make contact with any potential owner. Marnie arrived in very poor condition, she was only 12kg at the time, had a lot of hair loss and was urine strained. Whilst in local authority kennels, Marnie put on weight and her fur started to grow back. She is now in our care and on the search fo a happy ever after.

ABOUT MARNIE

Hi, I’m Marnie!

I am looking for some help! I have been in kennels for 5 weeks now.

I am a very sweet girl who loves human attention and having belly rubs!

I love all food and I am very food motivated which really helps me with my ongoing training. I know the sit command but may need to learn some extra manners and boundaries. I can sometimes be a little mouthy when I am excited or overwhelmed which the team are currently working on.

I love playing with toys, in particular soft toys! I also love a lick matt with peanut butter!

I travel well in the car when crated.

I walk generally quite well on the lead. I don’t like to stand still for too long, I like to chew on my lead when I am bored!

I will need some further house training.

HEALTH

I do have bowed front legs, the vets are currently happy that I am not in pain and no further action is needed. Possibly I have been crated a lot in my previous life or it is part of my conformation.

My weight is now a healthy weight.

My fur is starting to grow back –  I am not on any medication for this.

I may have some allergies, I would benefit from a sensitive, grain free diet.

MY TEMPERAMENT WITH OTHER DOGS

I may be able to walk with other dogs on a neutral dog walk but I wouldn’t want to have dogs in my face. I can be anxious around other dogs.

MY IDEAL FAMILY

I would love to find a bull breed experienced home who have the time and dedication to put in the extra training with me on my journey to being a settled and balanced dog.
