Marley is a female, mainly white Staffie believed to be around 6-7 years of age.
Sadly her rehoming comes from a relationship breakdown and following a few months of trying to keep her, there is no choice now but to find her the best new home possible.
When Marley came into rescue, we were shocked to find that Marley has an underlying illness called Disc Calcification. Calcification of the spine occurs when calcium crystals are deposited in the gelatinous fluid that cushions the vertebrae. When this fluid becomes hardened, it can no longer protect the individual bone sections of the spine. This does mean that Marley will be on pain relief for the rest of her life and we needs managing.
We are looking for a really special person to come forward and care for Marley. She doesn’t need too much exercise due to the pain and is really happy just being with you and having lots of cuddles. She is looking for a quiet house hold. Despite her pain, she always has a wagging tail!
She is of a gentle nature, dopey, and affectionate and would make a great pet and companion for the right person.
She loves to eat and sleep. She talks to you when she wants the toilet or her dinner (she gets very excited about food).
She loves to sit with you, right up close getting as much fuss as possible and giving you the occasional lick.
She is happy to be left alone for a reasonable length of time.
She is nervous of other dogs due to being attacked in the past, so quiet walks would suit her best or a home with a garden she can play in. She would be best as a only dog in a home.
Please contact the rescue if you are interested.
Home checks, Vet checks and Adoption fees apply.
