My Name Is.. Malibu
I Am… 1 Year
I Am… Female
Can I be rehomed with other dogs? No
Can I be rehomed with cats? No
Can I be rehomed with children? Over 12 Years
I Am Looking For… A foster or forever home
Malibu arrived from Spain vis another rescue earlier this year. Unfortunetely the rehoming did not work out through no fault of her owner. The rescue Malibu came from unfortunately offers no rescue back up, so Staffie and Stray Rescue have offered to help find Malibu a new home.
Malibu is looking for a dog experienced home who can offer additional training. Malibu is a typical young dog, very playful and full of energy.
She can be a little nervous when meeting people for the first time, especially around men, but she soon settles and warms to people with some time.
Malibu is really gentle in taking treats but prefers to eat alone at bigger mealtimes.
She is crate trained.
Malibu loves her toys and treats and she is a quick learner! She really enjoys going out for walks and sunning herself out in the garden.
MY TEMPERAMENT WITH OTHER DOGS
Malibu has not got on well with resident dogs in her previous home so will be looking for a pet free home. When out on walks, she can be selective with certain dogs and does not get on with all dogs.
TYPE OF HOME NEEDED
I am looking for:
- A foster or forever home
- A pet free home
- I can be rehomed with children over 12 years

Help us find Malibu a home!
Do you have a home for Malibu?
We are looking for foster families and adoptive families. We do ask foster homes to be within an hour’s drive of Bournemouth as the dogs in foster use our local vets and foster homes will be required to bring the foster dog back to us for any medical treatments.
We rehome to adoptive families within a 2 hour driving radius of Bournemouth. A home check and a vet check is required, with a £200 adoption fee, which contributes partially to kennel fees, vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neutering, flea/worming treatment and other veterinary costs. This adoption fee will contribute to the care of all our dogs.
We have a thorough rehoming programme to prepare you and your dog for each other. We also offer help and support for you both in the future. Learn about responsible ownership or contact us if you have any questions.
If you are considering fostering or permanently rehoming a dog, then please print off and complete one of the forms below:
Please note: We only rehome within a 2 hour driving radius of the Bournemouth area and do not place dogs in homes with children under the age of 6.
