Maisy Needs a Home

About Maisy

My Name is… Maisy

I am… Approximately 4 years old

Can I be rehomed with other dogs?  No

Can I be rehomed with cats? No

Can I be rehomed with children? Under Assessments

I am looking for… A forever home

Sadly, Maisy’s owner has recently passed away which is why she has come into rescue. She has clearly had a lot of litters. But please don’t let this put you off rehoming this wonderful girl.

Maisy is an absolute cutie patootie! She is always happy to see you, and every one who meets her falls in love. She is house trained, can be left alone for short periods of time (she will need to go for a wee during the day so can be left for just a couple of hours only).
Maisy currently has two 10 minute walks a day which she gets SO excited about. They will start one of two ways:
1: She will release her inner grey hound and attempt to sprint and bounce down the road until she gets tired or,
2: She will play tug of War with her lead on the drive way for 5 minutes and she will tire herself out, both equally entertaining but require a little bit of strength.
She LOVES playing especially tug with ropes and chasing a ball and doesn’t chew anything that is not hers and her second favourite activity is snoozing in between plays.
Maisy is currently under assessments, please check back shortly.

Help us find Maisy a home!

Do you have a home for Maisy?

We are looking for foster families and adoptive families. We do ask foster homes to be within an hour’s drive of Bournemouth as the dogs in foster use our local vets and foster homes will be required to bring the foster dog back to us for any medical treatments.

We rehome to adoptive families within a 2 hour driving radius of Bournemouth. A home check and a vet check is required, with a £180 adoption fee.

We have a thorough rehoming programme to prepare you and your dog for each other. We also offer help and support for you both in the future. Learn about responsible ownership or contact us if you have any questions.

If you are considering fostering or permanently rehoming a dog, then please print off and complete one of the forms below:

Please note: We only rehome within a 2 hour driving radius of the Bournemouth area and do not place dogs in homes with children under the age of 6.
