Sometimes, Staffie and Stray Rescue offer to take in and rehome dogs from overseas as we believe that the dogs have a better chance of finding a forever home here in the UK.
My Name Is… Lymon
I Am… 1 year, 3 months old
I am coming from… Spain
Arrival Date… 9th October
Can I be rehomed with other dogs? Possibly, to be assessed upon arrival
Can I be rehomed with cats? No
Can I be rehomed with children? Over 12 years
I am looking for… A foster or forever home
Lymon was found as an older puppy wandering the streets of Salobrena, Spain. He has since been in kennels in Spain for 6 months.
Lymon will shortly be making his way to Staffie and Stray Rescue all the way from Spain! He is a Staffie Cross.
He is a young, affectionate and energetic dog who would love a family of his own.
He has had a little training but would benefit from a home willing to put in extra training with him.
Lymon loves the children at the family run kennels in Spain.
As Lymon makes the adjustment and big from from Spain to the UK, he will be looking for a patient and understanding home who can give him the time to settle into his new life.
MY TEMPERAMENT WITH OTHER DOGS
At kennels in Spain, Lymon is sociable with other dogs, however assessments will need to be further carried out in the UK before placing him in a home with another dog.
TYPE OF HOME NEEDED
Pending Assessments, I am looking for:
- A pet free home
- I can live with children over 12 years
- A home who can offer time and patience whilst I settle into a new country

Help us find Lymon a home!
Do you have a home for Lymon?
We are looking for foster families and adoptive families. We do ask foster homes to be within an hour’s drive of Bournemouth as the dogs in foster use our local vets and foster homes will be required to bring the foster dog back to us for any medical treatments.
We rehome to adoptive families within a 2 hour driving radius of Bournemouth. A home check and a vet check is required, with a £200 adoption fee, which contributes partially to kennel fees, vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neutering, flea/worming treatment and other veterinary costs. This adoption fee will contribute to the care of all our dogs.
We have a thorough rehoming programme to prepare you and your dog for each other. We also offer help and support for you both in the future. Learn about responsible ownership or contact us if you have any questions.
If you are considering fostering or permanently rehoming a dog, then please print off and complete one of the forms below:
Please note: We only rehome within a 2 hour driving radius of the Bournemouth area and do not place dogs in homes with children under the age of 6.
