OUR HISTORY
Luna and Karma have been loved dogs, but a change in circumstances mean they are searching for a new home.
ABOUT LUNA AND KARMA
Hi, we are Luna and Karma!
We are a bonded pair of sisters, We originally came from abroad as puppies and came in a terrible state, covered in fleas and worms and we were very poorly, it took us a while to get to good health!
We are chilled out and responsive girls, we know basic commands and are well mannered. We enjoy finding the sun spot of a home and lapping up the rays! We also love a good tummy rub and will lay there for hours if you show us some fuss.
We have been used to a raw food diet.
We travel really well in the car, we love going to secure fields for an off lead run around!
We love our balls and toys, we can play fetch all day!
We can be scared of loud noises such as storms and fireworks.
Karma can be wary of men, this behaviour is displayed through barking at new visitors, but will calm down by being given initial space and being offered a treat. She gains trust easily, she would just appreciate people not rushing a bond with her.
HEALTH
We are in good health, but do need to loose some weight!
OUR TEMPERAMENT WITH OTHER DOGS
Luna has previously been attacked by another dog and is now anxious if they come in close proximity. She will bark at dogs and this tends to set Karma off. However, as soon as a dog has passed, they are fine and get over it very quickly.
Any new owner will have to be patient with this and build up to walking in busier areas over a period of time to support her anxieties and work on them.
OUR IDEAL FAMILY
We would love a home who can give me sufficient exercise and are committed to my ongoing training. We would also love a good size garden to call our own!

Do you have a home for Luna and Karma?
We are looking for foster families and adoptive families.
We do ask foster homes to be within an hour’s drive of Bournemouth foster homes will be expected to drive back to our vets in Bournemouth and to meet with prospective new homes.
We rehome to adoptive families within a 2 hour driving radius of Bournemouth. (maximum 2hrs, 30 minutes for the perfect applicant willing to travel) Please DO NOT ask if we make exceptions further and look at other rescues covering your area if we do not.
A home check and a vet check is required, with a £275 adoption fee (or £425 for puppy adoption under 1 year), which contributes partially to kennel fees, vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neutering, flea/worming treatment and other veterinary costs. This adoption fee will contribute to the care of all our dogs.
We have a thorough rehoming programme to prepare you and your dog for each other. We also offer help and support for you both in the future. Learn about responsible ownership or contact us if you have any questions.

Please note: We only rehome within a 2.5 hour driving radius of the Bournemouth area and do not place dogs in homes with children under the age of 6.
