6 Year old Luca is looking for a new home. He has come from a very loving background however due to unforeseen circumstances he is looking for a new home.
Luca has arthritis in both back legs and currently is on painkillers and also supplements to help with joints. He had a cruciate ligament replacement when he was one in his back right knee. He is also currently on medication to help his anxiety. We feel that in the right home Luca’s anxiety will lessen.
Luca has what is known as anxiety aggression, if his anxiety spikes high he shows extremes signs of distress or if another dog is involved aggression. He is best walked in area’s where there is enough space to walk away from other owners at a far distance. He is muzzled when out in public eg. Vet visits. He is best walked in a field rather than a busy street.
Hes very nervous when loud noises occur like thunder or fireworks. His reaction to this is cowering, shaking and hiding.
Luca could be rehomed with children in the household over 10 years as he would prefer a quieter household.
Luca loves to snuggle up on the sofa or anywhere cosy looking. His favourite games to play are football and frisbee. When he isn’t running around, Luca loves to tear up squeaky toys!
He is a real foodie and loves a treat! He enjoys the water and playing in a paddling pool or taking a dip in the sea. However, if its raining or snowing he would much rather be indoors!
Christmas time is Luca’s favourite time of the year as he LOVES to open presents.
Luca thoroughly enjoys the company of humans with lots of attention and affection.
He would like to be the only dog in the home.
Please contact the rescue if you are interested.
Home checks, Vet checks and Adoption fees apply.
