I am…. Looking for a forever home

Lola has had several homes in her young life, some which we believe have been traumatic for her.

Lola is a gorgeous girl who looks a little like Scooby Doo!

She is a big beauty. She can be quite wary on initial meetings with people but she is actually such a gentle, loving girl. Once she has met someone once, she will be your best friend! She just needs a little time and patience.

She is used to children but would suit a quieter, calm home.

Lola loves her food, and loves to learn. Lola walks beautifully on a lead but is muzzled. please don’t let that put you off. She will only require short walks becuase she is quite lazy in nature!

Lola loves her human company but is comfortable being left for reasonable amounts of time.

Lola is good as gold in the home, she is house trained and generally a very chilled out and calm girl. She is a bit of a coach potato.

For a larger breed, Lola is very gentle and the perfect house guest.

In the right home we feel this lovely girl will blossom.

Lola is very reactive to other dogs having sadly been attacked in her previous life requiring veterinary treatment. She can sometimes walk past comfortably, but only from a reasonable distance. Other times she finds it a real struggle. As she is strong on the lead we have muzzle trained her to take precautions. She would be more than happy with just a couple of 2o minute walks for some exercise and a change of scenery in a quiet area away from other dogs and would be quite content with a nice garden.

  • A dog experienced home, preferably with larger breeds
  • Willing to work with the rescue and with our behaviourist
  • A physically strong owner who can handle dog on lead
  • A pet free home
  • A home where children are over 12 years old

Help us find Lola a home!

Do you have a home for Lola?

We are looking for foster families and adoptive families. We do ask foster homes to be within an hour’s drive of Bournemouth as the dogs in foster use our local vets and foster homes will be required to bring the foster dog back to us for any medical treatments.

We rehome to adoptive families within a 2 hour driving radius of Bournemouth. A home check and a vet check is required, with a £200 adoption fee, which contributes partially to kennel fees, vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neutering, flea/worming treatment and other veterinary costs. This adoption fee will contribute to the care of all our dogs.

We have a thorough rehoming programme to prepare you and your dog for each other. We also offer help and support for you both in the future. Learn about responsible ownership or contact us if you have any questions.

If you are considering fostering or permanently rehoming a dog, then please print off and complete one of the forms below:

Please note: We only rehome within a 2 hour driving radius of the Bournemouth area and do not place dogs in homes with children under the age of 6.
