Lola 3 Needs a Home

About Lola 3

My Name Is… Lola

I Am… A French Bulldog

I Am… 4 Years Old

Can I be rehomed with other dogs? No

Can I be rehomed with cats? No

Can I be rehomed with children? Adult Only

I am looking for… A forever home

Lola has come from a loving home, but she is struggling in her current home as she doesn’t want to share attention in her current household where there are other animals and children. She is looking for a home who can put in additional work with her and meet her needs.

Lola loves going out for long walks and curently walks with a harness which has improved her pulling on lead. She gets so excited when its time for walkies!

Her favourite toys are plastic chew bones which she enjoys chewing on in the evenings.

Lola isn’t too fussed on food/treats and will take it or leave it.

She loves being lazy and sleeping in between walks. She loves to get all snuggly under the covers of a bed or a blanket.

In the Spring/Summer, Lola LOVES sunbathing in the garden and playing in paddling pool. She loves water in the form of puddles, lakes and the hose.

Lola loves getting a lot of attention from people in the home and out on walks.

She does struggle with anxiety when visiting the vets and any distruption to routine can upset her. She is looking for a patient and understanding home who can make the transition into a new home as smooth and easy as possible for her. Lola is also fearful around fireworks.

Lola has epilepsy and we have been to the vets already for a review of her medication and she has blood tests booked to investigate further. We are looking to get this under control and to ensure that she is on the right medication that works for her.

When out and about on walks, Lola is generally ok with other dogs, although assessments are being carried out further. She hasn’t had a lot of interaction with other dogs outside so she may require some additional work and training learning manners.

  • A quiet household
  • A patient and experienced home willing to put in the additional work
  • A pet free home
  • An adult only home
  • Ability to manage Lola’s medication and epilepsy

Please have a read through on the following link to see how we are working and the current restrictions that we have in place for applicants.

Please contact the rescue if you would like to offer Lola a foster or forever home.

Help us find Lola 3 a home!

Do you have a home for Lola 3?

We are looking for foster families and adoptive families. We do ask foster homes to be within an hour’s drive of Bournemouth as the dogs in foster use our local vets and foster homes will be required to bring the foster dog back to us for any medical treatments.

We rehome to adoptive families within a 2 hour driving radius of Bournemouth. A home check and a vet check is required, with a £200 adoption fee, which contributes partially to kennel fees, vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neutering, flea/worming treatment and other veterinary costs. This adoption fee will contribute to the care of all our dogs.

We have a thorough rehoming programme to prepare you and your dog for each other. We also offer help and support for you both in the future. Learn about responsible ownership or contact us if you have any questions.

If you are considering fostering or permanently rehoming a dog, then please print off and complete one of the forms below:

Please note: We only rehome within a 2 hour driving radius of the Bournemouth area and do not place dogs in homes with children under the age of 6.
