I Am Looking For… A forever home
Due to unforseen circumstances, Leo is looking for a new home through SSR.
Leo is a typical big pup who hasn’t had the basic training that is crucial and needed in early life. As a result, he is currently quite boisterous and mouthy.
Leo is really responsive to training and is eager to please. He will sit and wait for his harness to be put on before walks and takes treats nicely.
Leo loves nothing more than finding a sunny spot in the house and basking in the light! He is very well behaved around the house although if your socks or slippers are left unattended they may mysteriously disappear!
In his foster home, Leo has currently been left up to one hour with no issues.
Since arriving, Leo is still strong on the lead but is walking a lot better. He loves going to a quiet part of the forest on an extra long lead and having lots of zoomies and splashing in the puddles!
When Leo gets bored, he enjoys having a licky mat or a treat ball to keep him busy.
The photos of Leo really don’t do him justice, he is a very handsome boy!
He will be looking for a home who can provide him with lots of exercise.
- An urgent foster home, even if just for a few days to help out
- A pet free home
- An adult only home
- A patient home willing and able to put in extra training

Help us find Leo a home!
Do you have a home for Leo?
We are looking for foster families and adoptive families. We do ask foster homes to be within an hour’s drive of Bournemouth as the dogs in foster use our local vets and foster homes will be required to bring the foster dog back to us for any medical treatments.
We rehome to adoptive families within a 2 hour driving radius of Bournemouth. A home check and a vet check is required, with a £200 adoption fee, which contributes partially to kennel fees, vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neutering, flea/worming treatment and other veterinary costs. This adoption fee will contribute to the care of all our dogs.
We have a thorough rehoming programme to prepare you and your dog for each other. We also offer help and support for you both in the future. Learn about responsible ownership or contact us if you have any questions.
If you are considering fostering or permanently rehoming a dog, then please print off and complete one of the forms below:
Please note: We only rehome within a 2 hour driving radius of the Bournemouth area and do not place dogs in homes with children under the age of 6.
