Hi, I’m Herbie!
I thought I had found my forever home last year however I am sadly coming back to SSR soon. I will be looking for my 3rd home.
I am currently used to having an hours walk in the morning before breakfast and an hours walk in late afternoon before my dinner. I am looking for a home who can provide me with lots of exercise.
My tummy is a little sensitive so I am currently on a dried fish based diet which seems to work best for me. I am reasonably food orientated and I know basic commands such as sit and paw.
I do get worried when I am left on my own so I am looking for a home where someone is around all the time. I am am left to long I struggle to settle and I will be destructive and can open doors quite easily. I have tried using a crate but will break out as soon as I am left.
Please contact the rescue if you can offer me a foster or forever home!
MY TEMPERAMENT WITH OTHER DOGS
Herbie is sociable with other dogs and could live with another female dog.
TYPE OF HOME NEEDED
I am looking for:
- I could live with a calm female dog
- I can live with children over 8 years
- A foster or forever home
- A home where someone is around most of the time
