Hannah’s Story
Hannah arrived from the pound with another dog, Spike. They arrived at the Pound in quite a sorry way. Both of them were suffering with cherry eye and in general had poor health as a result of lack of care and responsible dog ownership.
With an amazing support team behind these dogs wanting the very best for them, they had to ease their suffering. Hannah’s eyes were so severe she needed multiple surgeries.
Spike was rehomed, but Hannah found herself waiting one whole year for her forever home.
Hannah had more complex behaviours and she was a little wary of new people, so the team spent a lot of time in search of a home where there were infrequent visitors.
We are very pleased to say that Hannah has finally found her forever home and lives with another dog companion!
