About Hannah

I Am… A Neopolitan Mastiff

Can I be rehomed with other dogs? Possibly, with a calm and tolerant dog

Can I be rehomed with children? Over 12 Years

I am looking for… A forever home

MY HISTORY

Hannah arrived from the pound with another dog, Spike. They arrived at the Pound in quite a sorry way. Both of them were suffering with cherry eye and in general had poor health as a result of lack of care and responsible dog ownership.
With an amazing support team behind these dogs wanting the very best for them, they have had surgery in early March to ease their suffering. Hannah’s was severe and it will be a few weeks until her sight improves due to all the scarring on her eyes. The photos shown here are not long after her surgery.
ABOUT HANNAH
Hannah is a young, beautiful and extremely strong Neapolitan Mastiff. She is looking for a home who is experienced in large breeds and willing to put in the extra training. She is only 1 year old but is strong as an Ox, so a very  large puppy!
Hannah is looking for a home who is phyiscally fit to be able to handle her out on walk. She can live with other dogs but prefers to company of being with people overe dogs. In particular Hannah loves being with ladies! She sometimes barks at men that she is meeting for the first time but is soon lapping up lots of love and affection when she is comfortable after a little time.
In the home Hannah love to follow her humans about and would prefer to have free run of the whole house so that she can be with you.
MY TEMPERAMENT WITH OTHER DOGS
Hannah is dog friendly but has a lot of energy in the home and likes to have a lot of attention! She could be rehomed with a calm dog who could tolerate this.

Help us find Hannah a home!

Do you have a home for Hannah?

We are looking for foster families and adoptive families. We do ask foster homes to be within an hour’s drive of Bournemouth as the dogs in foster use our local vets and foster homes will be required to bring the foster dog back to us for any medical treatments.

We rehome to adoptive families within a 2 hour driving radius of Bournemouth. A home check and a vet check is required, with a £200 adoption fee, which contributes partially to kennel fees, vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neutering, flea/worming treatment and other veterinary costs. This adoption fee will contribute to the care of all our dogs.

We have a thorough rehoming programme to prepare you and your dog for each other. We also offer help and support for you both in the future. Learn about responsible ownership or contact us if you have any questions.

If you are considering fostering or permanently rehoming a dog, then please print off and complete one of the forms below:

Please note: We only rehome within a 2 hour driving radius of the Bournemouth area and do not place dogs in homes with children under the age of 6.
