My Name Is… Frankie
I Am… 5 Years – DOB 21st May 2016
I Am… A Staffie Cross
Can I be rehomed with other dogs? Under Assessments
Can I be rehomed with cats? No
Can I be rehomed with children? Adult Only
I am looking for… A foster or forever home
Frankie will be looking for his third home. He was rehomed by his original home to a friend, who after a period of time was no longer able to look after him. Frankie is now back in his original home, however this is only a very temporary placement. He will be arriving to SSR soon to find his forever home.
Frankie is a lovable, energetic and playful boy.
He is looking for a home where someone is around a lot of the time due to seperation anxiety.
Frankie loves playing with his toys and sticks, but we are currently assessing potential guarding issues so he will be looking for an adult only home who can respect his space if needed. The rescue do not fully know the extent of Frankie’s behaviour yet and will be working alongside behaviourial therapists.
Please check back soon for more information.
MY TEMPERAMENT WITH OTHER DOGS
Although under assessments, we understand that Frankie is sociable with other dogs. He is kept on lead most of the time as he has no recall at the moment.

Help us find Frankie a home!
Do you have a home for Frankie?
We are looking for foster families and adoptive families. We do ask foster homes to be within an hour’s drive of Bournemouth as the dogs in foster use our local vets and foster homes will be required to bring the foster dog back to us for any medical treatments.
We rehome to adoptive families within a 2 hour driving radius of Bournemouth. A home check and a vet check is required, with a £200 adoption fee, which contributes partially to kennel fees, vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neutering, flea/worming treatment and other veterinary costs. This adoption fee will contribute to the care of all our dogs.
We have a thorough rehoming programme to prepare you and your dog for each other. We also offer help and support for you both in the future. Learn about responsible ownership or contact us if you have any questions.
If you are considering fostering or permanently rehoming a dog, then please print off and complete one of the forms below:
Please note: We only rehome within a 2 hour driving radius of the Bournemouth area and do not place dogs in homes with children under the age of 6.
