I am… A Staffie Cross
Can I be rehomed with dogs? Possibly with a female
Can I be rehomed with cats? No
Can I be rehomed with children? Over 6 Years
I am looking for… A foster or forever home.
Roy was sadly abandoned in a property when his owners just packed up and left. Fortunately he was saved, he is now looking for a foster or forever home.
Roy is a beautiful Staffie Cross, (possibly cross Labrador). After being abandoned, he was saved by a group who were able to source him a very temporary foster home where he was able to thrive, but he is now looking coming to SSR who hope to find him his happy ever after! You will see on the photos that Roy has had mange which has now been successfully treated. The other photos on his profile show just how well he’s doing!
Roy is happy to be left for short, reasonable periods of time.
He loves to run and chase, he has been let off lead in secure areas so he can have lots of fun! He is not too interested in toys. He does have a high prey drive for small furries when out and about so he cannot be rehomed with cats. He will bark at smaller dogs on walks but is generally polite when around other dogs.
Roy is a really mild mannered boy with a fantastic temperament. He loves to be around people and is very used to living with children.
Ideally Roy would need a little extra training with a home that has had some experience with dogs and who can also be patient with him. He does pull on the lead. But is a bright boy and quick to learn.
Roy loves belly rubs!
