Eric Needs a Home

About Eric

I am… 2.5 years old

I am a… American Bulldog

I am… Male

I weigh… 50kg

I need to… Continue lead training

I would like… An adult only home

I can be left… For reasonable time periods

I need to be.. The only dog in the home

I can’t be rehomed with… cats

I love… Wandering around the garden

I have been looking for a home since… May 2019

Eric hasn’t had the best start in life and so can be very nervous when meeting new people. He is learning lots in how to walk nicely on the lead but new owners must be prepared to continue with this training. Eric loves to have all the attention and would be happy to just be with you, he is very easily pleased with a chew or a toy, followed by an afternoon snooze. He is happiest when spending lots of time with his foster family. He is overall quite a lazy boy. Due to his size, it doesn’t take much to wear him out!

Eric is looking for an experienced bull breed owner to fully understand him. He is a large dog and needs a confident handler to work further on his socialisation with other dogs and people. He is a really calm boy  in the home and his character will have you laughing all day! Really he is just a big baby.

Eric will need to be in a pet free home as he doesn’t like to share the attention. He would be best suited in an adult only home. Anyone wanting to offer him a home would need to meet him several times before rehoming to gain his trust as he prefers to get to know you in his own time.

Please contact the rescue if you are interested.

Home checks, Vet checks and Adoption fees apply.
