Einstein Needs a Home

About Einstein

Sometimes, Staffie and Stray Rescue offer to take in and rehome dogs from overseas as we believe that the dogs have a better chance of finding a forever home here in the UK.

My Name Is… Einstein

I Am… 1 year, 9 months old

I am coming from… Spain

Can I be rehomed with other dogs? Possibly with a calm female

Can I be rehomed with  cats? No

Can I be rehomed with children? Over 8 years – With children who are used to dogs

I am looking for… A forever home

Einstein was found as a 7 month old puppy dumped on the streets of Salobrena, Spain, in Summer 2020. He is now close to 2 years old and has been in the pound for most of his life.

Einstein is a small Staffie Cross looking for his forever home.

He loves to be with people and has understandably really struggled being in kennels for such a long time, with a desperate need for human affection.

As a young dog, Einstein has bundles of energy and will be looking for a home who can provide him with lots of exercise and additional training. Having been in kennels for most of his life, he is not fully toilet trained but this is being worked on in the foster home.

Einstein has lived in a quiet, rural part of Spain for the majority of his life, we are unable to assess or predict how he will cope in the UK with new smells and noises. Prospective foster or forever homes must be prepared and able to offer patience whilst Einstein adjusts and settles in his new life.

He has had low level Leishmania which is currently managed with daily tablets and blood tests every 6 months to ensure the Leishmania is still under control.

Einstein loves his walks and playing with toys.

Einstein loves to give lots of cuddles and kisses and thoroughly enjoys all the fuss and attention given back! He will be the most grateful and loyal dog to his forever family!

Einstein is quite nervous of other dogs. He could possibly live with a very calm female dog.

Pending Assessments, I am looking for:

  • A pet free home
  • I can live with children over 12 years
  • A home who can offer time and patience whilst I settle into a new country

Help us find Einstein a home!

Do you have a home for Einstein?

We are looking for foster families and adoptive families. We do ask foster homes to be within an hour’s drive of Bournemouth as the dogs in foster use our local vets and foster homes will be required to bring the foster dog back to us for any medical treatments.

We rehome to adoptive families within a 2 hour driving radius of Bournemouth. A home check and a vet check is required, with a £200 adoption fee, which contributes partially to kennel fees, vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neutering, flea/worming treatment and other veterinary costs. This adoption fee will contribute to the care of all our dogs.

We have a thorough rehoming programme to prepare you and your dog for each other. We also offer help and support for you both in the future. Learn about responsible ownership or contact us if you have any questions.

If you are considering fostering or permanently rehoming a dog, then please print off and complete one of the forms below:

Please note: We only rehome within a 2 hour driving radius of the Bournemouth area and do not place dogs in homes with children under the age of 6.
