Dexter is looking for a forever home.
He is a young male aged 13 months who is currently learning boundaries. He is mostly an obedient boy but will get very excitable upon meeting new people. In his previous life he hasn’t been socialised well with other dogs and so he doesn’t know how to react with them. He will let out a loud shriek when he see’s another dog out and about on walks. This will improve with time and once he is settled into a routine. As a result Dexter would be best as an only pet in the home.
Dexter likes apples. banana’s and pears, he is used to rice and fruit with his biscuits for his meals. He can do paw both sides, high 5, speak, sit and lie down. He also loves to play with balls, particularly flat footballs and enjoys cuddles in the evening when hes tired out.
He wakes up around 5:50 each morning to go the toilet and can become quite awake and playful at this time!
Dexter is scared of his own reflection!
He is used to being left alone for reasonable periods of time.
When out and about on walks, Dexter wears a harness, a double lead and a muzzle for safety. He isn’t used to being around children, so a home with older children or even adults only would be the best type of home for Dexter to thrive in.
Please contact the rescue if you are interested in Dexter.
Home checks, Vet checks and Adoption fees apply.
