Darcey has been a well loved dog. Sadly due to unforeseen circumstances, she is looking for a new home through SSR.

Hi, I’m Darcey!

I’m a very friendly and affectionate girl who will be sure to greet you with a waggy tail and lots of cuddles! I can be a little needy because I love human interaction so much! My favourite pastime is having my belly rubbed and will lay on my back all day given half the chance!

I’m am happy being left for reasonable periods of time and am comfortable in the car.

I am very food oriented and will eat just about everything, including lettuce!

I know basic commands when there is food to be earned!

I am fear reactive to dogs as I have been attacked when out on walks a couple of times in the past. I can be vocal when walking in close proximity and can be very strong on the lead. I will need a patient and understanding owner who can help me in bettering these issues.

Please reach out to the rescue if you can offer me a foster or forever home!

I am very scared of other dogs and will pull towards them and become vocal if they are too close to me.

I am looking for:

  • A foster or forever home
  • A pet free home
  • I can live with kids aged 10+
