Can I be rehomed with children? Under Assessment
I am looking for… A foster or forever home
Buddy has been passed around a good few times in his life and sadly has landed in homes who lack experience or who cannot meet his needs.
Buddy is a dog who craves loves and affection. Due to a lack of training in this past, he is looking for a home who can continue with his training and help show him boundaries. He is very responsive to training. Buddy hasn’t had much life experience and is looking for an experienced and patience home who can show him the way. On arrival, Buddy was very unfamiliar with affection, but he is starting to warm to a little neck rub!
Buddy is a little nervous and shy when meeting people for the first time. Potential adoptee’s must be willing to meet on a number of occasions and respect his space whilst he gets to know you.
We are also working with a behaviorist for Buddy as he doesn’t cope well with passing traffic out on walks. New owners must be willing to continue workng with our behavourist and with the rescue if required going forward.
He is a strong boy on lead and will require a home who is dog experienced and physically strong enough to handle him on lead.
Buddy craves human attention which is he currently missing out on. He would love to be in a home where someone is around most of the time.
He doesn’t travel well in the car and gets very anxious. He will be best travelled in a crate when car journeys are required.
Buddy loves playing with his toys and going out on walks.
He will be looking for a home who can put in extra work and training with him. He will need some extra training in being fully house trained. Buddy would also benefit from a calm home environment.
MY TEMPERAMENT WITH OTHER DOGS
Undergoing assessments. He must be kept on lead at all times.

Do you have a home for Buddy?
We are looking for foster families and adoptive families. We do ask foster homes to be within an hour’s drive of Bournemouth as the dogs in foster use our local vets and foster homes will be required to bring the foster dog back to us for any medical treatments.
We rehome to adoptive families within a 2 hour driving radius of Bournemouth. A home check and a vet check is required, with a £200 adoption fee, which contributes partially to kennel fees, vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neutering, flea/worming treatment and other veterinary costs. This adoption fee will contribute to the care of all our dogs.
We have a thorough rehoming programme to prepare you and your dog for each other. We also offer help and support for you both in the future. Learn about responsible ownership or contact us if you have any questions.
If you are considering fostering or permanently rehoming a dog, then please print off and complete one of the forms below:
Please note: We only rehome within a 2 hour driving radius of the Bournemouth area and do not place dogs in homes with children under the age of 6.
