Bruno is a 5 year old Staffie. He has had a tough time of things and is now looking for a loving home of his own. Before Staffie and Stray Rescue came along, Bruno was living in a small shed in the scorching heat. He had little comfort, barely a bed and went to the toilet in the same place he slept.
Bruno is a real people person, he wants to be everyone’s friend. Bruno would prefer if he was the only dog in the home. He get very anxious on walks and with other dogs.
Bruno has had his confidence knocked down and is nervous and wary of his surrounding environment as a result of his past. Can you provide him with a patient and loving home?
An experience dog owner would be best for Bruno – He needs someone who can provide him with more socialisation with humans and dogs – He needs training to work on his anxiety with other dogs. Bruno loves to be loved, but would like a firm owner who can guide him. He is great on the lead, it is important to be wary on walks as Bruno can be quite vocal when he see’s other dogs, although not all the time. His troubled past life means that Bruno is unsure about what to do and how to react with other dogs. We are working with a behavioural therapist to help him.
Generally, inside the home Bruno is a very lazy boy who loves to sleep. He is most happy when he has human company by his side. Although an energetic and lively Staffie, Bruno is extremely cuddly and affectionate, especially in the mornings! He would fit in well with a family who like to lie in on the weekends! Especially if he is allowed cuddles in bed!
He is comfortable being left for up to 3-4 hours at a time.
His favourite game is to play fetch with a ball!
He is a very small Staffie who would love for someone to find some space in their home for him. He has been with us since June 2014. We can’t understand why he is being overlooked?
Bruno is currently in a loving foster home, but would love to have a forever home!
Please get in touch if you are interested.
Home checks, Vet Checks and Adoption fees apply.
