My Name Is… Brad
I am… 2 Years Old, My DOB is 7th November 2018
I am…. From the Pound
Can I be rehomed with dogs? No
Can I be rehomed with cats? No
Can I be rehomed with children? No, adult only home
I am looking for… A foster or forever home
Brad was picked up as a stray and taken to the pound, due to this we have no history on him.
Brad has just arrived into rescue ,He is a very large and strong dog. It is quite clear that this poor boy has never had any training or guidance in his young life so far. He can become quite silly on the lead and will jump up to bite the lead where he is not used to being walked we expect.
Brad has separation issues and is very anxious in a home as we believe this is something new to him. He needs a calm experience home, to go back to basics with him. We are working hard, to get him used to home entertainment and putting lots of training in. He will take some time getting settled into a home environment and prospective foster/adopters must be aware of this and prepared to take him on!
Despite his, Brad is such a charming boy and any home lucky enough to adopt him will enjoy a life of fun and laughter with our Brad!
He is very food oriented so we feel that with some time, effort and patience.
We have been working alongside our behavioural therapists with Brad and will continue to work with them and the foster/forever home.
Prospective adopters must be experienced in large breed dogs and must be prepared to meet several times prior to adoption.
MY TEMPERAMENT WITH OTHER DOGS
Assessments are currently underway with Brad, but he is a big strong boy and will require someone who can continue his training

Help us find Brad a home!
Do you have a home for Brad?
We are looking for foster families and adoptive families. We do ask foster homes to be within an hour’s drive of Bournemouth as the dogs in foster use our local vets and foster homes will be required to bring the foster dog back to us for any medical treatments.
We rehome to adoptive families within a 2 hour driving radius of Bournemouth. A home check and a vet check is required, with a £200 adoption fee, which contributes partially to kennel fees, vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neutering, flea/worming treatment and other veterinary costs. This adoption fee will contribute to the care of all our dogs.
We have a thorough rehoming programme to prepare you and your dog for each other. We also offer help and support for you both in the future. Learn about responsible ownership or contact us if you have any questions.
If you are considering fostering or permanently rehoming a dog, then please print off and complete one of the forms below:
Please note: We only rehome within a 2 hour driving radius of the Bournemouth area and do not place dogs in homes with children under the age of 6.
