MY HISTORY
Blue has been a well loved dog since a puppy. Sadly due to unforeseen circumstances, he is looking for a new home.
Blue is currently living with his curent owner whilst we seek a foster placement for him. Because the owner lives a long way out of our area, we are looking for a foster home or a ‘foster with a view to adopt home’ who are able to take Blue on straight away. We are unable to facilitate meet and greets at this stage until he has a local foster placement with us.

Hi, I’m Blue!
I’m a typical friendly and boisterious Staffie!
Sometimes I can be a bit quiet around new people, but I warm up quickly and I will be jumping up to say hello in no time!
I have never lived with children, although I have experienced some visiting children. I would prefer an adult only home.
I travel well in the car.
I love my food and treats, I know basic commands and take my treats gently.
I love my toys too!
I do struggle being left on my own and would love to find a home where someone is around most of the time to work on my seperation anxiety.

HEALTH
I am in good general health. I will have a health check when I arrive.
MY TEMPERAMENT WITH OTHER DOGS
Sadly I was attacked as a younger dog and I now display reactive behaviours towards other dogs on walks. I am not able to be let of lead until in a private and secure area.
The rescue will be able to support any home with further support and training.
MY IDEAL FAMILY
I would best suit a quiet bull breed experienced family, committed to my ongoing training.
Staffie and Stray Rescue will support any new home going forward if needed. A local home is preferable!

Do you have a home for Blue?
We are looking for foster families and adoptive families.
We do ask foster homes to be within an hour’s drive of Bournemouth foster homes will be expected to drive back to our vets in Bournemouth and to meet with prospective new homes.
We rehome to adoptive families within a 2 hour driving radius of Bournemouth. (maximum 2hrs, 30 minutes for the perfect applicant willing to travel) Please DO NOT ask if we make exceptions further and look at other rescues covering your area if we do not.
A home check and a vet check is required, with a £275 adoption fee (or £425 for puppy adoption under 1 year), which contributes partially to kennel fees, vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neutering, flea/worming treatment and other veterinary costs. This adoption fee will contribute to the care of all our dogs.
We have a thorough rehoming programme to prepare you and your dog for each other. We also offer help and support for you both in the future. Learn about responsible ownership or contact us if you have any questions.

Please note: We only rehome within a 2.5 hour driving radius of the Bournemouth area and do not place dogs in homes with children under the age of 6.
