Bertie is an 8 year old male Staffie looking for a forever home.
He is our longest SSR resident and has been waiting almost a year for a new home!
He would like to be rehomed in a pet free home but he loves children and can be rehomed with children over the age of 6 as per our policy.
Bertie gets very excitable on walks initially but does calm down once he is out and about. He is best kept on lead. He is happy to be left for short periods of time. Ideally he would like someone who is around most of the time.
Bertie does get very nervous around the vets and stays outside until his appointment is due. He also whimpers during thunder and lightning episodes.
He loves cuddles and see’s himself as a lap dog! He loves to meet and greet new people.
We feel that Bertie would be best placed in a more rural home which is quiet as busy homes make him anxious!
Overall he is a very sweet boy with a loving personality. His favourite toy is a teddy which he loves to snuggle! He also enjoys playing fetch in the garden. Bertie also LOVES his food and will take anything lying around!
Please contact the rescue if you are interested in adopting Bertie.
Home checks, Vet checks and Adoption fees apply.
