Bean Needs a Home

About Bean

My Name Is… Bean

I Am… Female

I Am… 3 Years Old

Can I be rehomed with other dogs? No

Can I be rehomed with cats? No

Can I be rehomed with children? Under Assessment

I am looking for… A foster or forever home

MY HISTORY

Bean has been a well loved dog, but sadly due to not getting on with the resident dog, she is looking for a forever home through SSR. This will be Bean’s 4th home due to a series of very sad and traumtic homes where she has been passed around.

ABOUT BEAN

Bean is a typical Staffie who loves people and getting lots of fuss and attention.

We have no known history of Bean living with children before, she will be further assessed in a foster home to determine what sort of home she would be best suited to.

Bean would love a home where someone is around most of the time as she does have seperation anxiety.

She does have ongoing issues with her ears which require ear cleaner on a regular basis. She also has allergies which will be investigated further upon arrival to rescue.

Bean walks very well on the lead.

Please check back soon for more information.

MY TEMPERAMENT WITH OTHER DOGS

Currently under assessments, but Bean will walk politely past other dogs.

She would not tolerate living with another dog.

Help us find Bean a home!

Do you have a home for Bean?

We are looking for foster families and adoptive families. We do ask foster homes to be within an hour’s drive of Bournemouth as the dogs in foster use our local vets and foster homes will be required to bring the foster dog back to us for any medical treatments.

We rehome to adoptive families within a 2 hour driving radius of Bournemouth. A home check and a vet check is required, with a £200 adoption fee, which contributes partially to kennel fees, vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neutering, flea/worming treatment and other veterinary costs. This adoption fee will contribute to the care of all our dogs.

We have a thorough rehoming programme to prepare you and your dog for each other. We also offer help and support for you both in the future. Learn about responsible ownership or contact us if you have any questions.

If you are considering fostering or permanently rehoming a dog, then please print off and complete one of the forms below:

Please note: We only rehome within a 2 hour driving radius of the Bournemouth area and do not place dogs in homes with children under the age of 6.
