Amber Needs a Home

About Amber

My Name is… Amber

I am… 2 Years

Can I be rehomed with dogs? No

Can I be rehomed with cats? Not

Can I be rehomed with children? Yes, Over 8 years

I am looking for… A forever home

Amber is from the pound and we have no known history on her. She was picked up as a stray off the streets, injured and underweight. She was rehomed last year but has sadly been returned and she is looking for another forever home.

Hi, I’m Amber!

I’m just a small Staffie cross who has had a lot of hardship in my young life. Thankfully some lovely people found me running around as a stray on the streets. I am covered in scars which give insight to my horrible past.

I have been so overlooked and the rescue team cannot understand why?

I am so loving and affectionate and I am a really good girl! In the home I am very quiet and relaxed, I really am no trouble. I enjoy watching nature programmes on the television!

I was very timid when I first arrived but I have blossomed and built up a lot of confidence. I am great in the vets and cope well when I am looked after by my 2nd foster mum when my foster mum goes away on holiday.

I love my cuddles and snuggling under blankets. I can cope being alone for a few hours but would really love a home where someone is around most of the time.

Amber is reactive towards other dogs when they are in close proximity. She is OK around bigger dogs and will calmly walk behind them. She is much more reactive to smaller dogs.

She will need to be kept on lead and walked in areas that are not too populated with other dogs.
